Is your content actually working?
There’s so much content being created right now – podcasts, infographics, blog posts, videos like this one. SO. MUCH. CONTENT.
It’s noisy, noisy, noisy out there. (felt a little like the Grinch writing that…)
So how do you know if you’re actually reaching your audience?
How do you know if the content that you’re creating is getting you a return on your investment?
Well, you measure it.
You examine the analytics. You look at the metrics.
Where you get that information depends on where you’re publishing your content.
Publishing blogs on your website? Check your website analytics.
Publishing on LinkedIn, or Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.? Take a look at their analytics to see what content is actually getting engaged with.
And not all numbers are created equal. Be really discerning, know what you’re asking of your audience and then look at the metrics that matter to your request.
