Can you measure your marketing ROI?

Return on investment has a lot of considerations, but mostly it is about figuring out: are we getting out more than we are getting in?

To do that, we have to be able to measure it, which means we need measuring capabilities.

So first things first, we need some type of analytics.

Google Analytics is great, it just needs to be properly configured.

Other things you can set up to help measure ROI are:

    • Google Tag Manager
    • Having a Facebook pixel set up
    • Setting up Google Search Console
    • A LinkedIn pixel or any other tracking pixel for systems you are using (CRMs like ActiveCampaign and Salesforce have their own)
    • Using heat maps to help you see what people are doing on your landing pages
    • Your Pinterest insights

Once you have the capability to measure in place, you can set up goals to see how you are tracking to the things you want to be doing.

Finally, you can set up reports that show you if you are getting out more than you are getting in.

It can feel like a bit much to set up, but once you do you will feel confident in knowing you are able to measure your marketing ROI.

If this is something you would like some help setting up or making sure you have working for you, schedule your own consult!
